So, apart from vague hopes of being able to sweat it all out, my cravings seem to be leading to an impractical layer of insulation around the middle. Oh well.... at least laps at the pool are more appealing (though the sweltering bike ride to and from may be something to be endured)... Lolling in the Taj pool is much more likely.
Well, haven't heard from any of you Melbourne mob in a while (perhaps it is because you have disowned me for gratuitous use of the word 'mob'?). Hope all well in the down under of down under.

Dear Hooch,
Hear are comments from two of the down under mob. Hope that you can survive the heat and are well, as we are. Several text messages from Helen and John G. They are having a fabulous trip and no doubt will be with you soon.
We spent an enjoyable Father’s Day at Robin’s new home. As well as Robin. Geoff and Iona, Imogen and Ned were there plus Wendy and Kendal and Julie and family. Julie drove us over to Robin’s. A very pleasant and happy afternoon. Last Tuesday we had lunch at Williamstown with Wendy and Stuart to celebrate Wendy’s birthday. Another lovely day..

Dear Pa,
It's great to hear from you. 57th Wedding Anniversary! Congratulations! :) Is there are particular gemstone or mineral that goes with 57? Or do you have to wait till your diamond 60th?
Great to hear you are well. And also lovely to know you are not freezing down there and that spring has sprung.
Please say hi to Nana from me.
Lots of love,
Hooch. xxx
